Hampton Inn New Bern is Hiring a Front Desk Agent Near Bern, NC

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and provide exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include checking guests in and out, answering phone calls, and assisting with any inquiries or requests. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process
- Assist guests with check-out procedures and handle any billing inquiries
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate information to guests or direct them to the appropriate department
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Perform night audit duties as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
